                                             Wilbert “Will” John Robinson
                                         August 8, 1925 - September 10, 2020


Wilbert “Will” John Robinson of Spring Hill, Florida, was called home to our Lord
on September 10, 2020. He was a faithful and active member and elder of
Forest Oaks Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Arline
Gleue Robinson. Will was baptized on August 16, 1925 and confirmed on April
10, 1938 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert, Minnesota. His confirmation
verse was John 14:6. Will married Arline Freda Gleue on August 8, 1949 at
Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bremen, Kansas. Will was a WWII Navy veteran,
and after the war his career was in education. He taught at Lutheran
schools in Richville, Michigan, and St. Louis, Missouri, ran an educational
resource center in Seward County, Nebraska, and was a Professor of Audio-
Visual Technology at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York. 

Will and Arline had six children: Joel and Diane Robinson, Bruce and
Ruth Robinson, Ann Marie and Kirk Bradley, Joyce Lagas, Janet and
Chuck Hueske, and Eileen and Quentin Anderson. They have 16
grandchildren, Rebecca (Steven) Cai, Timothy (Elizabeth) Robinson,
Andrew Robinson, Christa (Aaron) Cohrs, Erin (Ben) Fernandez, Nathan
(Krista) Robinson, Paul (Tatiana) Havlat, Patrick (Luiza) Havlat, Heather
(Matt) Hoad, Joseph (Whitney) Lagas, Julia (Kevin) Cummings, Cameron
(Nora) Anderson, Jacob (Chelsi) Anderson, Rachel (Michael) Cantu, Joshua
(Ana Lidia) Anderson, Rebekah Anderson. They have 25 great-
grandchildren: Ben Cai, Madison Cai, Megan Robinson, Liam Robinson,
Emma Cohrs, Madeleine Fernandez, Liam Fernandez, Aidan Robinson,
Finn Robinson, Jett Havlat, Maximus Havlat, Zoey Havlat, Ben Havlat,
Mackenzie Hoad, Jayden Hoad, Makayla Hoad, Joseph Lagas, Evelyn
Lagas, Avery Cummings, Harper Cummings, Madelyn Cummings,
Cameron Anderson Jr., Sophia Anderson, Madeline Anderson, Oliver
Anderson.  
Will was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sophia Sylwester
Robinson, his daughter, Ann Marie Bradley, sisters, Lois Troxell and Gladys
Ford, and brothers, James Robinson and Luther Robinson. He is survived
by sisters Grace Heck, Ellen Burnett, Wanda (Larry) Honig, and sisters-in-
law Darlene Robinson and Shirley Robinson.


Due to COVID a memorial service will be held at a future time in Bremen,
Kansas at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may
be sent to Good Shepherd Lutheran School, 206 S. 17th St., Marysville,
Kansas 66508.or Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 401 Arrowhead Rd.,
Bremen, Kansas 66412.
