William "Billy" D. Gagliardi

William “Billy” Gagliardi, age 71, passed away on 02/20/2026 in Spring Hill, FL. Born 05/29/1954 in Stamford, CT to Frederick Gagliardi and Anne Maul Gagliardi. Graduated from Stamford High School in 1972. Billy married Gail Krupnik in 1975 and moved to Port Richey, FL. Billy worked for KMart for 27 years as a soft lines manager and operations manager. After retiring from KMart, he owned and operated Quality Sharpening for several years. 

Predeceased by parents Anne Gagliardi and Frederick Gagliardi and stepfather Frank Gagliardi. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gail Gagliardi, his daughter Melissa Bozman (Joe), and grandchildren, Joseph, Maria and Matthew Bozman, all of Spring Hill, FL, brothers Rick (Bonnie) Jaffrey, NH, Nick (Sherry) Palm Beach, FL, Richard (Kathy) Spring Hill, FL, Sister-in-law AnnMarie Orlando, Hudson, FL, Brother-in-law Stanley Krupnik (Patti), Hudson, FL, Sister-in-law Arleen Bankuty, Greenwich, CT, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren who he happily chauffeured to and from school for many years. He also enjoyed NASCAR, football, Jimmy Buffet music, Daytona Beach (although he never got to open that hot dog stand on the beach). He was the proud owner of a brick on the Spacewalk of Honor in support of the American Space Program. He loved his dogs, Morgan and Max, who followed him everywhere.

Visitation will be held at Downing Funeral home, 1214 Wendy Ct.,Spring Hill, FL 34607, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 pm.
