I had the honor of knowing Mark and being a fellow band member of his with Orchestra Lira of Detroit. One of Lira's original members from 1967, Mark was a truly gifted and talented musician who played many instruments with us and his singing voice was simply outstanding. He was a very large part of the group's original sound during that period. I am very sad to hear of his passing but am sure he is with my father Sanda, Billy and other musicians from his time.

Thanks Mark for the great memories and may your memory be eternal.
